三、白内障 Cataract

某，女，89岁, 同上。 治疗期间  -2.26.2013

与上案同一病人，2013年，睛白大部布满黄斑，已经用放大镜阅读数 年，对面有人，若面部背阴，则看不清面目，只能看个轮廓。因2011年为治疗过带状疱疹，因此比较了解身体状况，肝开窍于目，肝热多生翳肉，肝虚流泪，多 有内障。治以暖肝清胆，结合针灸，大约六个月，已经完全不用眼镜或放大镜读书。坐在床上看电视新闻，三米之外，可清晰辨认屏幕上的字幕。直至过世，没有任 何视觉障碍。人到晚年，行动不便，视力几乎成为老人获取视觉享受人生乐趣的仅有几个途径。西医角膜移植手术技术已臻成熟，但年高一般不建议做手术，况且还 有事故率等问题。中医治疗白内障有确切疗效。中医眼科源远流长，历史超过2000年。任何眼疾，包括功能性的、遗传性的所谓近视、色盲，都可能通过中医得 到缓解，甚至治愈，且不反复

Till 2013 most of the white eyeball was covered by yellowish clouding, reading relied on amplifier word by word, could not see her son's face clearly in less than five yards when his back to the light.  Only listen to the TV program., totally blurred video screen.

I know the lady pretty well for in 2011 I cured her herpes zoster, so she trusted me.

Family members refused surgery considering her age. She called me in. 

TCM believes eyes are the aperture of Liver. When the Liver contains heat, eyes may develop mist or even pterygium. Expelling her Liver heat out was what I should do. 

After about six months she could enjoy watching TV at a distance of about nine years in bed and read without amplifier. She even didn't have to wear her reading glass.

The history of TCM ophthalmology could date back B.C. Almost any eye diseases, except injured, will be checked for Liver problem first, including color blind, short vision, and red eyes.
