三叉神经痛

我在青岛一个医院的针灸科遇到这位退伍将军。接受针灸治疗很多年了。主治医生是我的朋友说几乎这老人每天都来，就连节日也不错过，除了她不在班。针灸可以减轻些疼痛，但老是不除根。几年前，老人经人介绍去了外地做了手术，但后来又把钱要回来了，因为无效。人家也承诺：无效退款。于是还是每天来针灸。

我看老人面庞通红，一副肝阳上亢的症状，请朋友推荐给他吃中药。老人拒绝了，因为过去吃过太多中药都没用。后来听说我是美国来的就同意了。我觉得很好笑，中医正宗在中国呀，只是老人不知道。

临行前，我给朋友打了电话，知道三付药后疼痛大减，从未有过的轻松，甚至有时不去针灸了。我离开后，没有继续跟踪这个案例。

此证多伴有冲脉突发的症状，临证单纯泻相火往往不理想。

I came across the 80-year-old general at Acupuncture Department in a Qingdao CM Hospital. He has been an acupuncture patient for many years. According to the doctor, he barely missed a single day when the hospital is open. The acupuncture eased the pain on his face, but it was always there. Holidays are difficult time for the senior when the hospital would not open or the doctor was not duty. He had received a surgery many years ago and got a refund later as promised by the operator saying if it didn’t work. And came back to proceed for acupuncture.

I then suggested him taking herbal therapy to ease the fire.  He refused because he had taken too many herbs and they didn’t work. When he learned I was from America, he finally agreed to try. (It’s very weird because the authentic Chinese medicine is in China, only he didn’t know). Before my departure, I called Dr. Qi and she said the guys said three doses later the pain greatly eased as never before. He even skipped a few clinical visits. I left a week later and didn’t follow further of the case.

This symptom is often accompanied by sudden onset of symptoms in the Chong meridian, and simply purging the ministerial fire is often not ideal in clinical practice. Nourishing Yin is essential.
